What is not included
Clearinghouse (Stedi) transactions run on Software Solution LA's account and are billed in advance: eligibility $0.30, claim $0.30, remittance $0.20 each. On day 15, and on the 1st of each month, we debit an advance based on your estimated monthly claims; unused money is refunded on the 1st, and if 25% or less remains during a month we debit another advance. Text-message fees are billed by that provider directly. Prices exclude sales tax where applicable.
Billing questions
What happens when the trial ends?
On day 15 your connected bank account is debited once for the annual platform fee plus the first month, and the 12-month term begins. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged. If no bank account is connected, the practice is paused (nothing is deleted) and you can subscribe or export your data for 90 days.
How do I pay?
By ACH debit from your practice's bank account. You connect the account at sign-up through Stripe, our payment processor; your account and routing numbers never touch our servers. Hospital & Enterprise customers can ask to be invoiced.
What is the annual platform fee?
A once-a-year charge per practice that covers your private database, encrypted backups, HIPAA compliance administration (BAA, audit logs, breach response readiness) and onboarding support. It is charged when the trial ends and again on each anniversary of the term.
Is there a minimum term?
Yes. Every plan is a 12-month subscription that starts when the trial ends and renews for another 12 months unless cancelled before the renewal date. If you cancel during the term, service continues and monthly charges run to the end of the term.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated; downgrades apply at your next renewal, as long as you are within the smaller plan's limits.
